After their brilliant concert in the sold out Herkulessaal in Munic the Mozart Piano Quartet has been praised by the Süddeutsche Zeitung to be musically one of the most inspiring piano ensembles worldwide. The four musicians are now heading towards London to appear at the Wigmore Hall and further on they are touring in Germany in collaboration with the Deutschlandradio Kultur and the Bayerischer Rundfunk and heading to Sao Paulo as well as Santiago de Chile among others.

The MPQ´s new recording of the piano quartets Op. 47 by Schumann and Op. 25 by Brahms was released in october 2011 on their label Musikproduktion Dabringhaus und Grimm. It is the first record on the label´s new LIVE-series an additionally conatins the "Andante" of Brahms piano quartet Op. 60. The concert was recorded at december 19th in 2010 at the old "Ackerhaus" of the Marienmuenster Abbey, which is the labels recording studio for their special 2+2+2 sound concept. The CD is a high esolution SACD which does play in any regular CD or DVD players as well.
